Strengthening Grassroots Through Financial Awareness
On 20th September 2025, Renovate India hosted a workshop on GST Awareness and Financial Planning at Alka Residency Hotel, Thane West. The session brought together 22 participants from 5 districts of Maharashtra– Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Parbhani, and Ahmednagar. The session was introduced by our Cofounder, Mr. Alok Kadam, as he highlighted the importance of GST and Financial planning in today’s context.
Key Insights:
- Expert Insights by Mr Sanjay K Singh (Superintendent, CGST) delivered an engaging session on financial planning, practical strategies, and the role of GST in today’s economy.
- Participants also received valuable knowledge on career opportunities for the youth from the marginalised sections, in the government sector – including study resources, application processes, and eligibility criteria.
- Capacity building for NGOs: Mr Sunny Pawar (Managing Director), introduced Renovate India’s specially designed Capacity building mobile app featuring 8 modules to enhance NGO operations. A special discount code was shared with all attendees for immediate access.
We extend our gratitude to Mr Sanjay Singh and our esteemed guests, Vikas Padnis and Mr Siddhant Sawant, for their presence, as well as to our Cofounder, Mr Alok Kadam, for setting the tone with his vision.
At Renovate India, financial literacy and systemic awareness are powerful tools for empowerment. By equipping NGOs and communities with knowledge, we are fostering resilience, accountability, and sustainable growth.
