The project aimed to improve access to justice for child survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai from July 2020 to December 2023. Objectives included providing legal aid, counselling, and raising awareness about sexual offences. Key interventions involved setting up a Legal Support Unit (LSU) for psycho-social counselling and legal guidance, awareness activities on GBV, and training government officials on child-friendly practices. The end-line study assessed the project’s impact, highlighting key outputs and recommending actions for future projects by Plan India.
